Seussical: The Musical

Stage Manager (UND) Director: Brett Olson

“Oh the things you can think.” This fun show brought the challenge of bringing adult concepts and problems to a child’s level. We had so much fun doing this show and we were very proud of it. I brought my work on this show to present at KCACTF Region 5 as part of the National Stage Management Fellowship. I received two awards; Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for excellence in Stage Management and American College Theater Festival Region V, Festival 51 Outstanding Contribution in Stage Management.

Wizard of Oz

Stage Manager (UND) Director: Stephanie Murry

I had the honor of Stage Managing the University of North Dakota's production of Wizard of Oz. The show posed challenges in many forms as we had live fire effect, trap door effects, and large scene changes along with lighting and sound effects. The show brought the house down (right on the witch). It was the most successful show in University history setting box office records.

They Don't Pay? We Won't Pay!

Stage Manager (UND) Director: Ljubisa Matic

Dario Fo's farce was a full of laughs and the dead back to life. With several planned tricks, no flips, but a few falls the show was a success. My work on this show led to special recognition at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for excellence in Stage Management.

Mr. Burns

Assistant Stage Manager (UND) Director: Ljubisa Matic

Mr. Burns, a post-electric play was a chance for me to step into assistant stage manager role. The run of this show offered a unique opportunity to lead a group of less experienced stagehands and large scene changes done entirely by crew. I was able to choreograph the shifts to optimize time and efficiency. I also served as the weapons safety charge dealing with guns, swords, and knives.
